<title>This picture marked the start of something amazing!
It was taken as soon as I woke up two days ago, on my 48th birthday.
The same day Champions Training started.
The same day my piano sold…the one I have had since I was 14.
The same day I had a meeting to announce our lives are shifting yet again, and I had to say goodbye.
I am still in a season of massive acceleration. Perhaps it feels that way simply because there was a lot of movement necessary to bring me into alignment with God’s purposes. I suppose one can get pretty far off course in nearly a half century if one is not adept at navigation according to a map.
4 is the number of creation.
8 is the number of new beginnings.
So…

I am dropping more things. Physical things, emotional things, spiritual things…with the words of Paul ringing in my head almost constantly:
“For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish in order that I may gain Christ…” Phil. 3:8
I am pressing onward and in; the prize being a closer relationship with the one who loves me best in order that, following in the footsteps of those who have gone before, I may share God’s great love with others in the way he made me to do so. I am a scroll within the scroll of Christ, written on his heart. I intend to complete the chapter written for me that he will get his full reward.

The words to the song “Mercy” by Amanda Cook create a constant ‘go’ rhythm in my heart, and serve as a soundtrack to my birthday sunrise. I hope they are an encouragement to you too:

“So I will wake
And spend my days
Knowing the One who has raised me up
From death to life
From wrong to right
You’re making all things beautiful”

Thanks Connie (@conjenningsaol-com) for introducing me to that song.

Blessings TWC family! I’m so grateful for you all.</title>
